Network hub MSK-1
Network hub MSK-1 (hereinafter, concentrator) is installed in the centre of the VEGA-Net information collection system, and provides daily data collection by radio communication with all VEGA-T radio modules located in its control area.
Data from VEGA-T radio modules are saved in the concentrator’s non-volatile memory and sent to the dispatcher server using the concentrator built-in smart radio terminal iMOD-Vega (see section 2.2) over the GSM channel at intervals specified by the dispatcher server, or on demand if required. The concentrator is identified in the server database by the serial No. of the smart radio terminal iMod-Vega.
On the dispatcher station side, communication with the concentrator is maintained with the standard GSM modem.
Apart from sending information over the GSM channel, direct connection to the laptop concentrator or information transfer device UPI is also an option.
The concentrator is designed as a wall-mounted device. The concentrator components are arranged in a mounting box with a cover. The concentrator design provides for locking the cover.
Network hub MSK-1 is powered from an a.c. mains 50 Hz, 220 V. Network hubs MSK-1 are completed with an uninterrupted power supply using replaceable storage batteries. If the concentrator at a facility cannot be connected to a stationary electric power supply source, it can be powered by a solar battery.
Operation at an ambient temperature of -40 °С to +85 °С and air humidity up to 98 % at 25 °С.
